Earl Nightingale told s story about thr devil and his prised tool discouragement. Why do you think that is? It is because that stops you from action. Hatred , fear, and jealousy may get immature people to do dumb things, but at least they are moving. Discouragement can paralysis. Why even bother, nothing works any way. Why ask, the answer is always no. No one cares about my opinion, The way to beat discourgment is through ACTION.

There are risks and cost to action But they are far less then the long range risks if comfortable inaction.

If you have more then 40 percent of your time in fear of some kind, worry or anxiety of some kind, then you really do have some stuff that needs cleaned up. Personally if /i spebd more then 10 percent of my time in this state, I'mI just don't want to be there.
When your brains are running in those negative programs, you are sending out negative thought patterns that you are going to act upon. These are always destructive. ]]>
<![CDATA[So I had to talk with you earlier to set up 2015 Have you?]]>Mon, 16 Mar 2015 17:32:40 GMThttp://wwcir.com/httpwwcirwordpresscom/so-i-had-to-talk-with-you-earlier-to-set-up-2015-have-youSo here it is March, busy season starting are you ready?

Do you have the planning tools you need to map out your business year?

I was not always this organized! (In fact it’s kind of shocking that I’ve achieved the level of success I have despite doing so many things wrong!) But finally after a lot of headache and struggle I now realize the importance and value of planning out my business activities and I’m finally doing it.

Start by identifying your business goals for the year.

What’s your financial goal?
How many clients would you like to have throughout the year?
What types of and how many business events do you want to attend?
Do you want to launch a new division, new service?
Is this the year you take off?
What marketing strategies and activities are you going to focus on?
If you do speaking, how many speaking engagements would you like to have? What classes do you want to take?

Next, determine your strategies.

For example, if one of your marketing strategies is to offer a free monthly webinar, choose the day and time and put it on the calendar. Put your networking events on, newsletters, reminders and such .

Finally, begin scheduling your strategies to create a visual plan of what you want to accomplish.

The Laminated Yearly Wall Calendar

Get some dry eraser markers and use different colors to plan and schedule launches or promotions, speaking engagements, marketing initiatives, business events, travel, vacation time, etc. Use sticky notes if you want to put something on the calendar but the exact dates aren’t set yet.

It’s so helpful to see your business activities for the year visually. It also encourages planning ahead and taking action if you see too much whitespace.

The Desktop Monthly Planner

Use this to plan out and schedule your e-mail calendar for the year. Map out your editorial calendar for your email newsletter, identifying the different topics you’ll cover. Schedule periodic promotions about your own services. Create space for promoting other people’s resources, products and programs that would be valuable to your community.

I also have a google calendar version of my e-mail calendar that can be easily shared with my team, however I’m old school and find that having the physical desktop calendar helps keep me more on track.

How do you plan out your business year? What tools and resources do you use? I’d love to know. Post a comment below and share your best tips!

<![CDATA[Got Commitment?]]>Wed, 04 Mar 2015 18:52:03 GMThttp://wwcir.com/httpwwcirwordpresscom/got-commitmentMy wife and I just celebrated 20 years in marriage, has we were talking about the importance of commitment in marriage I was thinking how true this is in business as well.

I often get asked " What determines if a business will be successful or not? Is it choosing the right target market or niche? Being good at negotiations? or Consistent effective marketing?

All of those are important for sure, but those alone won't lead to a successful business.

Instead there is one internal factor that will predict a business's success.

Want to know what it is?

Commitment
Ask any successful business owner and they will tell you at some point they made a committed decision to build a successful company. They put a stake in the ground and declared this is what I am doing and there is no turning back.

That is why the first step in our coaching program is commitment!!!

Do you know where the word decision comes from?

The Latin root is decidere, which means to cut off from. So if you make a true decision to succeed as a owner, it means that you are cutting off all other possibilities except for success.

Perhaps one of the best examples of this is when Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes made the decision to “burn the boats” after he and his men landed on the shores of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Most would consider this an insane decision, because if Cortes and his men were on the verge of defeat, there wouldn’t be an exit strategy.

Cortes viewed it differently. The command to burn the boats meant that either they would emerge victorious or they would all die.

As we now know today, Cortes’ bold decision worked out and he became the first man in 600 years to successfully conquer Mexico.

So let me ask you, how committed are you to your business success?

Have you made an unwavering decision that you’re going to do this thing and there’s no turning back?

Are you demonstrating your commitment with action?

Are you truly investing the time, energy and resources required to build the business you desire?

If YES – Congratulations! I’d love to hear about your commitment below.

If NO – Is it time for you to get commitment? Post your thoughts and questions below and I’ll personally reply.

Remember, there’s a big difference between wanting to have a successful business and making an unwavering commitment, having your actions match your decision and doing whatever “burning the boats” looks like for you so that there is no turning back.

Here’s to making and keeping the commitments that deliver the outcomes you truly desire.

P.S.

If you’re not yet ready to make a committed decision, be okay with that. Don’t beat yourself up. Instead know it’s something you can move towards so that when the timing is right you can “burn the boats” and have 100% commitment.

  • Water caused $9.1 billion in annual homeowner policy property losses from 2007 to 2009, were approximately 23 percent of all homeowner property losses and in the U.S., water damage is the second most frequently filed insurance claim?
  • “Water damage claims have been growing faster than all other components of homeowners insurance.” - American Insurance Association
  • Property damage resulting from water damage due to plumbing failures and freezing pipes is the third most common cause of homeowner loss.
  • A water-damage claim, mostly from leaky or burst pipes, is the primary cause of rising property-insurance costs.
  • ACE estimates the average cost of repairs for this damage could exceed $20,000, compared to only $6,000 for damage related to roof leaks and other causes.
  • Water damage claims typically range from $2,000 to $30,000 with a mean of around $5,000.
  • High humidity conditions that exist after a water loss create the perfect environment for mold growth.
  • In the U.S. for the 1st 6 months of 2011 alone, severe weather loss claims have exceeded $15.5 billion!

The Insurance Industry is looking for and requires contractors who are Certified I.I.C.R.C. Water Restoration Technicians to handle the massive increase in claims loss.

The fastest growing segment of the cleaning industry is in WATER REMEDIATION!

<![CDATA[How can training and coaching help in Baltimore, Md!!!!]]>Fri, 09 Jan 2015 00:39:58 GMThttp://wwcir.com/httpwwcirwordpresscom/how-can-training-and-coaching-help-in-baltimore-mdHow do you learn how to do something?

If you have children, grandchildren or know someone who does, you know that no matter how many times you tell then not to stick their finger in a wall socket or touch a fire, most of them will do it. Most will never do it again after their first experience, they learned by trial and error that the experience was painful.

In business, learning by trial and error is costly. Costly in attempting to correct the error, costly in loss of credibility, costly in replacing the damage and most costly of all loosing the customer and their friends/associates. Word of mouth advertising works both ways.

To the right of this article are just a few of the knowledge base questions that a Professional Carpet Cleaner should know and be able to answer. The questions come from real world problems encountered by carpet cleaners who learned how to clean carpet by the trial and error method. They were trained how to do it, but their lack of knowledge cost them money.

"Knowledge is power" and "knowledge is priceless", a small investment in knowing what and why (the "technical") before you perform the how saves you money in both the short term and the long run.

With close to 30 years helping cleaners solve their problems all over the world, we speak from experience. You can have the best training available, know how to do it better than anyone else, but without the proper knowledge at some point in time a surface you clean will come back to bite you.

Invest in knowledge now before you make a costly mistake.]]>
